A journey back to what matters.

For much of my life, I believed my work and my love of travel were two separate callings.

For more than sixteen years, I built a career in clinical research, dedicating myself to work centered on healing, science, and the lives of others. At the same time, I found myself drawn to the world beyond what I knew, to unfamiliar places, different cultures, and the quiet beauty of discovering something new.

Looking back, I see that neither path was separate.

God was present in both, even during the seasons when I didn’t recognize His hand in my life.

My journey has not been a straight line of faith.

There have been seasons of searching, seasons of uncertainty, and seasons when I found myself further from God than I ever intended to be.

But somehow, through the work I was called to do, the places I traveled, and the experiences that changed me, everything kept leading me back to Him.

That realization became the heart of Casa Faro.

Faro means lighthouse. To me, that represents something deeply personal: a light that remains, even when we lose our way.

A reminder that no matter how far we wander, there is always a way home.

Casa Faro was born from my Christian faith and a belief that restoration is about more than stepping away from our routines.

Sometimes we need to step away from the noise long enough to hear God again.

These retreats bring together thoughtful travel, beautiful destinations, meaningful connection, and space for faith, rest, and restoration.

You don’t have to arrive with everything figured out.

You simply have to come as you are.

My hope is that you leave having experienced more than a beautiful place. That you leave a little closer to God, a little closer to yourself, and changed in ways that stay with you long after you return home.
